“Addicted To Love, The Musical” will feature the most popular Songs that we all danced to throughout the decades. We encourage you to sing along! The show will have professional sound and lighting, costume and backdrop changes and dialogue. Doors open at 5:30pm and showtime is 6:00pm on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Ezell Recreation Center.

Tickets are $35.00  plus fees and tax which includes: beautifully decorated candle-lit tables, with black tablecloths and centerpieces, ice, water & cups for your drinks, and a meet-and-greet with the cast members following the show. 

Proceeds from Ticket Purchases and the 50/50 will benefit Children and their Families in need at Christmas as we donate to local charities that provide food and gifts.

PJ, a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist/Drummer has been performing for more than 40 years. He has a Masters Degree in Education and has taught music privately and in the public school system in New York and Florida. A member of the soft rock group "Gunhill Road" who in 1973 had a Billboard top 20 hit "Back When My Hair Was Short". "Gun Hill Road" performed with such artists as Bette Midler, Blood Sweat & Tears and George Carlin and appeared on TV shows American Bandstand and The Midnight Special. As a songwriter, PJ has several of his songs published and available for digital download on websites such as iTunes, Amazon Music and Spotify to name a few. PJ has written numerous songs from Pop to Country and has released a Country album, “Heart Without A Beat” that is currently available on the aforementioned digital download sites as well as on DazzlingRainProductions.com. The songs on this album were all recorded in Nashville, TN at RCA studios where many famous artists such as Elvis, Dolly Parton and many others have recorded. PJ has performed at more than 2,000 weddings, corporate functions, bar-mitzvahs, dinner dances and restaurants. Five years ago PJ & Barbie formed BWC Band (Boardwalk Cruisin') which has been performing in the Villages for the past four years. He is a resident of The Villages!

Barbie Stirpe

Co-Creator of "Addicted To Love", The Musical and The Christmas Show Celebration! Lead Vocalist/Keyboard

Barbie, a Singer/Keyboardist, began singing early in her childhood in church choirs and school plays and continued on to study piano and voice at Mississippi State University where she attained her Bachelor's Degree. She has been performing for more than 30 years. Barbie has pursued her love of music and entertaining in many different venues such as the praise band at church, country clubs, private parties and festivals. Barbie has always had a wide interest in the arts and is a published writer. Her cookbook “Get Naked And Serve Immediately” is in its third printing and can be found on Amazon. As a Pottery artist Barbie has had her works displayed in the Tampa Airport Art Gallery. Barbie studied ballet, tap and jazz dancing at Laman Goings Studio in Jackson, MS. Barbie became an integral part of BWC Band (Boardwalk Cruisin’) five years ago and has been delighting audiences with her energy and effervescence. She is a resident of The Villages!

Missie Jordan

LEAD VOCALIST

Missie, originally from Indiana, has sung in professional theater and Bands for more than 30 Years. She has opened for “The Corvairs” in New Smyrna and Daytona, sung with Rocky And The Rollers, performed at The Orlando State Fair, “Titanic Museum” and hosted “Extreme Health Challenge” with Michelee Puppets.

 

Missie’s credits in theater are vast. Her roles include, Dorothy Brock “42nd Street”, Chelsea “On Golden Pond”,  Lead vocalist for “My Way”, “Swing”, “American Cabaret”, and “Side By Side”.

 

Missie has also shared the stage with The Lettermen, Pointer Sisters, and Three Dog Night to name a few. She also performs throughout Florida with ‘Krossing Jordan’ a seven piece band. She would like to thank her husband for his encouragement and support and God for the abundant blessings in her life.

Rose A. Scalia

Lead Vocalist

Born in a small coal mining town, outside of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, after graduating high school, Rose was an on-air producer of a segment called ‘The Rose Report’ a Saturday morning radio call-in talk show called “Success Line” for ‘those who wanted more out of life!’  After five years on radio, she headed to New York City to pursue her dream of theatre/dance. When ‘Laugh In’ was the rage, she was a back-up stage dancer, then landed her role as Marge Macdougall in ‘Promises Promises’, under the direction of Ed Greenberg, who directed Marion Mercer, Kelly Britt and Juliet Prowse.

After graduating with a Masters Degree in Communications/Theatre, she worked alongside with Tip O’Neil as a Staff Aide in Congress, became an Assistant Professor at New York University, then was hired by Barbara Corcoran (Shark Tank) as her VP, HR Director.  She won the title of “Ms. Congeniality, Senior New York-2014”, and recently won the title of “Ms. Senior Sumter County-2021”.  Living in The Villages, Rose is now again reinventing herself.  She performed in ‘Skits ‘n Giggles’, “Vagina Monologues” and at the Bohemian Café.  She is now proud to be part of the “Dazzling Rain Productions” team.  Thank you to my husband, John, who is my rock and encouragement!

Anne & Mark Watkinson

Anne Marie Watkinson

Anne has been happily married to fellow singer, and actor, Mark Watkinson for over 43 years. They have three beautiful children. Anne has been an entertainer and vocal soloist for over 40 years. She has been in many productions and choirs throughout the years. In The Villages, she has performed in The Pirates Of Penzance, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and Hello Dolly!, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls, Lady Anne in Camelot and was a featured soloist in Christian Voices United. Anne was the featured soloist the America 250, Celebrating 250 Years Of Freedom show on July 4th at the Savannah Center., and was recently in Oklahoma.  She has sung in The Villages Tappers Showcase,  and is currently in The Villages Pops Chorus, and has performed three times in both Dazzling Rain's  Addicted To Love, The Musical and  their Christmas Show.

 

Mark Watkinson

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Mark met his wife, Anne Marie in the Somerset High School Music Department back in 1977. Before moving  to The Villages in 2022, Mark and Anne were very active in the Fall River Little Theater, as well as in several choirs and choruses. Since moving to The Villages, he has joined The  Villages Pops Chorus, Christian Voices United, Brothers In Song, and has performed in The Pirates of Penzance, Hello Dolly!,  The Wizard Of Oz, Oklahoma, and Big Jule in Guys and Dolls, as well as The Villages  Tappers Showcase. Mark s currently in The Villages Pops Chorus and has assisted and performed three time  in both Dazzling Rain's  Addicted To Love, The Musical and  their Christmas Show.

Michael B.

Saxophone/Lead Vocalist

Michael B started playing the alto sax as a 3rd grader in Washington, DC, but never joined the school bands, nor has he ever taken a private lesson.  He learned to read music from church hymnals, and his ear training comes from playing along with television themes.  In High School, joining the DC Youth Orchestra Wind Ensemble sharpened his reading skills.

Michael’s career as an electrical engineer kept him on the road, so for four years, his sax hung on the wall above the fireplace.  He pulled it down to play for a Sunday School class, and never put it back. 

“What many people don’t know is that I dabble in a variety of instruments, and my favorite instrument is the oboe; not the sax.  I was in a Beatles tribute band for years as Paul McCartney, and people thought of me as a bass player, not a sax player.  I need variety: if I ever become bored, or treat performing as a job, it’s game over for me! Versatile doesn’t adequately describe me.”

Michael retired as the head of International Engineering for General Mills, and has lived in 10 different states with his wife Luella, who has supported Michael’s music for over 44 years.  He has played on the Squares in The Villages with a couple of groups as well as church worship bands.  “I hope to perform until I am physically unable, and don’t plan to ever stop again.

Scott Jackson

Lead Vocalist

Scott has been singing and harmonizing as long as he can remember. He started singing in a small country church in western Kentucky and has since been a worship pastor, solo act, and front man in several bands. He has been the opening act for several headliners while working for Harrah's casinos in the 90's. He was honored to perform for foreign dignitaries, Governors, and U.S. congressmen at Lincoln dinners as well preforming at the Memorial Day services at Florida National Cemetery. 

Scott attended college at Murray State University and Liberty University to receive his Associates degree. He retired as a staking engineer in 2017 with the state of Kentucky and served as the president of the Power Engineers Association of Kentucky for 4 years.

Since moving to The Villages in 2020 he has been a part of several local acts and is now part of the Action Jackson Duo with his wife Tiffany. Since retiring he has focused on golf and travel with Tiffany, and D1 softball. He is currently 4th all-time in homeruns in Villages softball. He is a welcome addition to our show. 

Tiffany Jackson

Lead Vocalist

Tiffany has been enjoying Florida since retiring in 2020. While she has been singing her whole life in churches and clubs all over Kentucky and Southern Illinois she joined her first bands upon moving to The Villages. 

Tiffany a veteran of several bands has now settled in to being the prettier half of Action Jackson The Duo with her husband Scott. They perform for clubs, block parties, and groups all over central Florida as well as worship music with LOCC.

Tiffany worked as a radiation tech for The Department of Energy until her retirement. She enjoys travel, golfing with her Day Drinking Diva's, and performing, but is happiest when she is spending time with her two sons or one of her two amazing grandchildren.

Charlie Roy

M.C./Performer

A native of South Louisiana, Charlie's focus during his early years centered on sports and public speaking.  After meeting his college sweetheart, Tina, at Nicholls State University, he transferred to the University of Louisiana Lafayette where he received a Bachelors Degree in Business.  Charlie and Tina married and had two sons, Taylor (Heather) and Tucker (Leann).  Charlie's career in Sales and marketing led to many moves over the years, with Florida being their eight.
